Blue Creek School Art

This week the 5th and 6th grade students learned how to turn markers into watercolor paint. Students had the choice to use a photo reference or to draw from their mind. They outlined pencil sketches with crayola makers. Then added water to their marker lines to drag out pigment which resembled watercolor paint. The students were amazed at all the value that could be created with normal markers and water!
